Accounting Technician
Established Professional Accounting Practice is seeking full time Accounting Technician.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping, payroll, accounting and income tax engagements.
- Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements and tax returns
- Prepare draft reports
- Complete additional duties, such as customer service, answering phones, scheduling meetings and other assignments as required.
Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:
- Professional designation or working towards a designation (CA, CMA, CGA or CPA).
- A minimum of 2-4 years' public practice experience is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting policies and financial management.
- Advanced computer skills in Excel, Profile, and QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet client deadlines.
- This role may require some travel to other offices and/or client sites.

Required education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
- College and or Certificate in related field. (Accounting, Finance, Payroll, Taxation)
