Multimedia Technician II (Orillia) Technology Services Centre Regular Full time OPSEU Position - $26.02 to $33.47 per hour Dynamic, modern, and highly learner-centred, Lakehead University acknowledges all of our students as valued leaders of tomorrow, whose education and success are most paramount to our institution. The Multimedia Technician II provides technical support and operational resources for scheduling and supervising video conferencing and collaborative technologies at Lakehead University. This role provides direct support for academic and administrative communication and classroom technology. Qualifications include a post-secondary diploma/degree related to multimedia technologies (or equivalent experience) complimented with certifications in the same field. Applicants should also have 2 years of relevant experience working with audio / video conference devices, video conference bridges, and related software. Excellent communication / customer service skills, problem solving and organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to work in a busy environment with multiple demands and deadlines. Experience in a post-secondary or education setting is ideal.
